I love books. All sorts of books. I have too many. Some are in piles on the floor. So that makes me a bibliophile and part of the cognoscenti, especially for both photobooks and hand-made books.

I am primarily a documentary-art photographer – I blend documentary and art together like many photographers do successfully and interestingly today. But I also design and make small edition, diminutive photobooks.

I use a variety of bookbindings and materials to make what I hope are unique and characterful jewel-like books that nestle cosily in one’s hands and intimately connect with you, the viewer.

I am Bounded Editions. Just me. I am happily artisan. After 35 years in big, complex, confusing, and only vaguely fulfilling corporate marketing, that suits me very well.

I have made many books of my own work and am pleased that I have done so – there is nothing much better for a visual artist than to have something tangible and physical and tactile in one’s hands of one’s work.

So I now offer this ability and design eye to other photographer/artists, for their work, on commission.
